This forum is our all house. The moderators and admins are the house keepers. You are the guests here. So please behave as guests. And not as vandals.
No Flaming, Bashing, and Trolling
Hate posts and personal attacks will not be tolerated. Treat others on these forums as you would expect them to treat you. Means in a friendly and respectful manner.
Purposely spamming a message board with senseless, vacuous, or empty messages to gain a higher post count, or just to annoy others is not tolerated.
Impersonating Other Users / Accessing Another User(‘s) Account
You may not impersonate another board member or create an account specifically for the purpose of provoking other users. Also, accessing or using someone else’s account or attempting to access another poster’s account is strictly prohibited.
No Warez postings or similar illegal content
Linking or giving information about any site that distributes illegal software, or warez, seeking help to circumvent any copyright laws, or encouraging software or media piracy is not tolerated
No Sexual, Nudity or extreme violent content
This board is a public forum. So please think of the kids. Not everybody here is 18+
Take care of the Copyright
You are not allowed to post any material here that is protected by copyright, trademark or other proprietary right without the express permission of the owner(s) of said copyright, trademark or other proprietary right.
No political discussions
This board is not the place for politics. Political discussions will be removed.
No versus threads
Versus threads ends too quick in holy wars. You can of course talk about features of other software. But when it switches to a versus discussion then it’s a thread lock.
No images in the signature
Even when it’s technical possible at the moment. I just haven’t found a way to disable images in the signature yet. And as few text and links as possible please. Maximum two lines of text. Signatures are fine, and can solve more than one quesiton ahead. But too big signatures are simply disturbing.
Breaking the above rules will result in punishment. This can go from a simple thread lock, across a official warning, temporary ban, up to a permanent ban.
When you think that another user has broken the rules, then feel free to contact one of the moderators or administrators.
Note that it is a privileg to use the forum, not a right. The moderators and administrators can suspend your account at any point without any further explanation.
