Ive also thought about this tho. But besides im just searching a free renderer, used student version of maya for years and im experienced as 3D Artist but i dont have that much money right now and would need open source software to make some. I considered maybe buying indigo because it’s quiet cheap but it doesnt support hair nor particles, im currently looking at TheaRender, seems also nice. But vray i wouldnt ever consider again, dated rgb renderer that looks always too bright and thus too “cartoonish”, im looking forward for Fstorm to become available for Blender.
