The proposals launch has started on Facebook. So far we are getting goo interaction. It’s like a game. I think we have too many proposals for now, but it’s alright for now.

Right now, in votes, the owl is doing surprisingly well.

    Love it :)

I thought that the vote was already done. My favourite is still the cat. But i can also live with an owl ^^

We have a winner! The owl got the most votes and points on Facebook with 12. Surprisingly it got a few. I included the runner ups. My favorite cat was in there, and surprisingly the robed mage.

I’m wondering if we should do another round, or just start the tutorial creation stage for modeling?

Cool, I would say, just go with it. – You made the rules, so follow them. ;) … Also it´s great to have the vote from people, that are not so involved with the developement, they see BfA with completely different eyes.

I am looking forward to the owl being modeled and particularly, to see how you will go about making the feathers?

Great intitiative, that should give some more publicity and I always like to watch tutorials to see how other people are using the software. – I guess I can learn a bunch about animation from this. – Keep it coming.

You are right, let’s stick to the game plan. I have done feathers back in the days when I was a teen in trueSpace, I assume it will be better and easier to do in Bforaritsts now, specially with instanced hair.

The owl is definitely harder to do. Feathers remains hard even nowadays. But yes, let’s stick to the plan. The owl is no bad choice :)

Promoting the tutorial series, umm, where does it happen, and when?

The series I’ll publish here in the forums, on Facebook and upload the videos to the Github files repository so you can upload them to Youtube.

I plan to complete the series by 30th of November. The modeling part this month. I need to get into a rythym first and a tutorial technique.  I’m still working on Audio but I have the course planned out already.  I’ll first do it then I’ll do it recorded with the teaching structure.
