Have you clicked at the migrate button after installation?
If not, then go to C:UsersyourusernameAppDataRoamingBforartistsBforartists, delete the 2.82 folder, restart Bforartists. And then you can try again 
It does just carry over the settings from what i know though. You might still need to reinstall the addons.
