Newbie to Blender/BForArtists.
Following “Blender 3D By Example,” I’m trying to get started with extrusion (the Viking helmet project).
When I select two faces and perform an extrusion, I’m not getting the yellow “+” icon that apparently supports a repeat of the faces.
Hi generalpicture,
How do you perform extrude? From the tool shelf? Or with the old legacy operators in the Mesh menu?
The extrude widget is just available with the tool from the tool shelf.
Kind regards
Reiner

If you are using the Blender keymap to extrude (E), you won’t be getting that widget. But if you use the Bforartists keymap which is S, then you will. The toolshelf operator has the widget. The act-once operator (or legacy operator) doesn’t have this widget.

How do you get to workspaces
in bforatists
Hi,
The same way than in Blender. By the tabs at the top, with the menu besides the tab, And by creating a new scene with corresponding workspace in the File menu.
Kind regards
Reiner
