I just stumbled upon this developer who has some great UI improvements to the VSE, and he has already made a script to make the changes.
I have written him personally asking if we can implement this by default, and told him about Bforartists. Hopefully he responds and maybe joins the team also!
I love his ideas, mostly ones found on Rclickselect.
His key improvements are adding to the tabs in the properties sidebar (which Bforartists added) with refinement in most of the dialogues in the properties sidebar also. He’s also got a script that applies these changes already! Super easy to implement.
If BFA continues onwards to version 2.0.0 after the release of 2.8 – can we implement these?

Nice, he responded to my emails. He’s pretty excited. I invited him to be a part of the community, saying that most things in the VSE would probably be accepted.

That’s true. I still hate the VSE. But i am not in the way when you want to improve it. As long as i don’t have to do it
But please take care to keep it consistent with the rest of the UI.
