    Hi!

    I have a very (very) basic question!  I did a lot of research and decided bforartists would be my best bet over other 3D programs.  But, I need something explained (I searched where I could and found nothing on the subject – Reiner, you may want to put this on your FAQ page for us newcomers)!

    I currently have bforartists 0.7.0 installed and would like to update to the latest, 0.8.0.

    How do I do this?  Do I need to uninstall the old version (this option wouldn’t make sense), or just run the 0.8.0 installer and point it to the same (or a different) directory?

    Hi Trasd, 

    You’re right, we should mention this somewhere. I’ll make it a task. Thanks for the hint.

    For now you should uninstall 0.7.0 first, that’s saver. I had just today a report about double addons, which is most probably caused by installing a new version over an old one. The settings from the former installation will remain. So you should still be able to import the old settings.
