Catching a bug is very hard sometimes. And it becomes even harder for us developers when you have to ask the bug reporter repeatedly for the needed details until you get all relevant informations. This costs time and nerves at both sides. Time that is much better spend in actual development. So before you submit a bug report please pay attention to the following points. You will make our life much easier:
– Check if the problem also happens with the actual official Blender version. If that’s the case please file the bug report directly to Blender.
– Check if the bug is repeatable. You can also report random bugs. But chances that we will be able to fix such bugs is close to zero.
Relevant informations that should be in the bug report are:
Bforartists version number
The OS. Windows 7, 8, 10, Linux, Mac ?
The graphics card
A detailled description how to reproduce the bug
Example material. A screenshot, a blend file, Or even a short video
