The highlights are:

Does anyone know, where the user preferences of BfA are stored, so all the changes I made to the shortcuts etc. can be carried over to the new version?

Under Windows it’s C:UsersYOURUSERNAMEAppDataRoamingBforartists

But Bforartists 0.9.3 should show a copy previous settings button in the splash screen when you run it the first time, like Blender does. So no need to carry everything over by hand.

I will make a screenshot tomorrow when needed.

Thanks, I got it. – Pressed the import button on the splash screen and all is working fine.

EDIT: I know it is the blender news, maybe start a 0.9.3 thread?
