We have a new version of Bforartists ready. Version 2.1.0
The binary downloads can as usual also be found in the download section.
The sourcecode can be found at Github. https://github.com/Bforartists/Bforartists/releases/tag/v2.1.0
And the release note is here: https://www.bforartists.de/release-notes/
Bforartists 2.1.0 is a bug fix and maintenance release. It brings the new features from Blender 2.83 LTS. And some smaller corrections and fixes that we have found at our way through the missing manual chapters and creating the quickstart tutorial videos. Bforartists 2.1.0 is based at Blender 2.90 Alpha. The updated Linux version should follow quickly. For mac we have unfortunately still no new maintainer. So the Mac version remains at version 0.8.0
Bforartists is a fork of the popular open source software Blender. With the goal to improve the UI and usability.
The usual thanks goes to the team and everybody involved and who has supported us. You have helped to make Bforartists possible. Have fun with the new version – Reiner

Bforartists 2 version 2.1.0 crashed when accumulate too much memory for 64 bit system. however,Bforartists 2 version 2.o.0 is more stable. we need a win graphic work station window system that will balance and bridge both task. :dash: I love Bforartists is much easier to work with than regular blender user program.11. Sorry to hear this. But there is unfortunately little that we can do. We at Bforartists just changes the UI. For the rest we depend at Blender. And this crashes you report sounds like something deep under the hood. So the best thing is to have a look if you can reproduce it in Blender. And if so, report it to the Blender developers then.

Yeah, BFA 2.1.0 is built off Blender 2.9, which is still technically under development. So we have bleeding edge features that may still have Blender bugs which will iron out over time. Generally a weekly BFA devbuild has these crashes fixed.
