For some reason Alt + RM doesn’t seem to work on Linux, it works fine on Windows or if choose a different navigation style the 3D cursor does move, I’ve check it isn’t lock, I can move it via the properties panel

I’ve not touched the user preferences on either Linux or Windows, and there’s no plugins installed on the Linux system, I’ve enbled Archimesh (that’s why I need the cursor to move easily)

    Hi NigeC,

That’s a known Linux problem with Blender already. Ubuntu for example occupies the alt key for desktop controls. There is little that we can do. The user has to reconfigure it.

Yeah its Lubuntu.. I didn’t realize there was an issue as I only use BFA and the Linux machine is used for testing stuff mainly, its really slow hence why its running Lubuntu

I rarely use hotkeys so hopely ctrl +rm will be ok

    thanks for the reply
