      Windows 7

When loading a .blend file the program gets into solid view mode even if it was saved using textured mode. Nothing that makes work impossible, just a minor nuisance.

        Thanks for your report.

Bforartists has Load UI OFF. Means it does not load the menu state when you reload a blend file.

When you want to make changes to the UI permanent, then you need to save the startup file after you did those changes.

When you want to be able to load the UI like in Blender, then you need to tick Load UI and save the User Preferences.

        Kind regards

Ahh, so it’s a feature, not a bug :) then maybe this one: when I’m in default mode, I move screen with right mouse button, but in UV editor mode when working with textures I move the texture view with middle mouse button, like in Blender. Can I make it work in bforartists way, with RMB? I find it more convenient.

          Thanks for your patience :)

Ah, cool find. Haven’t noticed this one before.

I will have a look if we can do this without conflicting with other functionality :)

Hm, this one’s a bit more complicated than thought. In other editors the panning is also with Middle mouse button. And here the conflicts are not so easy to resolve. Lots of functionality is rmb. I think of trying to make pan with MMB in the 3d view too, so that it is consistent again. What do you think?

On the other hand, i am this used now to rmb to pan the 3D view … :D

I’m just a beginner starting my adventure with 3D (tried a bit Caligari after the Microsoft disaster) and I’m not good at switching my mind between bforartists’ way in 3D part of screen and blender’s UVmapping part of screen, that’s all ;)

E=mc2, which means Errors=more code2 ;) take care of serious bugs if you find ones

Indeed. But i think i will live with this incosistency for now. You can always change the trouble hotkeys by yourself when it’s really this disturbing :)

                    Thanks for your input :)
