Toolbar - change import object icons to be folders instead of blank papers

Might I suggest the OBJ, FBX, ABC, etc icons on the toolbar be Folders with the extension/colour instead of sheets of paper? Makes more sense as folders, as they are used for opening files, in general, in most software. A blank sheet usually represents a new scene or new project. Get's me confused every time, though I use them a lot currently.

So like, similar system with the colors and file extension, but instead of sheet of paper, make it an open folder.

Thanks for the suggestion Smile

Tough one. Initially i also experimented with a folder icon first. But the extension part was hard to read then. And we don't open FBX, Obj, etc. We import them. And the standard import icon is unfortunately a sheet icon, not a folder icon. Usually with an arrow at it. That the arrow is missing is because there was simply no space for the arrow. This space is occupied by the file names.

So two good reasons to use a sheet icon instead of a folder icon. A folder icon would imho be wrong here.

Slept one more night about it. We will keep the sheet icons, sorry. It simply makes more sense. And you get used to Smile

Closing.
