Standardsettings - Unthemeable closed tabs

Bforartists Tracker

I tried to close quite a few tabs for the factory settings. it did not transfer with the startup.blend, and the tabs are open again. Better would of course to have closed tabs because the open tabs adds lots of visual noise.

Just want to add that this still is an issue with the fixed standardtheme. Seems that the tab status is not part of the Factory Settings.

It does save though when you save the startup file.

Cool. Whatever has blocked with the previous attempts, now it works. The tabs stays closed and arranged as i have arranged them. With the startup.blend written by Bforartists. Seems that all my testing which Blender version is needed to write the startup.blend to write the factory settings was for the birds.

At least it is working now I-m so happy

Fixed in factorysettings branch.

Seems that i cannot catch this rascal without help. I am lost.

Bug report created at the Blender bug tracker:

Thanks goes to Blender Developer Julian Eisel for giving the crucial hint. Panel open/close status is not read from the startup.blend for the factory settings. But individually set by the panel itself. So no wonder that the changes in the startup.blend doesn't make it to the factory defaults.

The default panel state is set in the ui python files when initializing Blender.
