Hi Armitage,

Thanks for the report Smile

Yes, this snap menu doesn' exist anymore in Bforartists. It was a double menu entry. And quite a few other menus are gone too. The Blender / Maya / Max keymap isn't fixed yet. We first have to be through with redesigning the UI. And there are still some changes coming.

In Bforartists all snapping tools is in the tool shelf now. As a panel. Panels cannot be called as a menu under the mouse. So there is little that we can do here. We could of course reimplement the snapping menu. Or we will remove the hotkey. We will decide this when we start to fix the Blender keymaps.

Kind regards

Reiner

I get this with the link shortcut too and others. I would like to suggest... that the action that menu was most typically called and used for could be a direct hot key instead. I think I will try add that to the full key map because those shortcuts pulling errors really does not feel polished and the old muscle memory of Blender needs a working and quicker solution, similar to adding a direct delete on delete shortcut instead of the floating menu roulette.

Just a tip, pinning that panel (ctrl+Lmouse on panel header) really makes it quick to use the snapping, or assign the same SHIFT+S as snap object to cursor and ALT+SHIFT+S snap cursor to object/selected. It's a quick flow also. Faster than using a floating menu...

Mh, you cannot use one key here. It's eight menu items. So the idea to readd the text menu isn't that bad.

Thanks for pointing me out in the direction of the Pie Menu Add-on.

The featured Cursor Shift-S menu (as well as the others) of that add-on is just what I needed Smile

Perfect Smile

Task will nevertheless remain open. We need to fix the keymaps at one point I-m so happy

Okay, decision time. Let's have a look if we can reimplement the missing menus. They are obsolete in Bforartists, but Blender users may want to use it.

And that was it.

There are still quite a few menus gone. But the Blender keymap does not call it. And so i have no reason to readd them.
