3D View Skin resize Hotkey needs menu entry

When you have a Skin modifier applied and when you are in edit mode, then you can control its thickness with hotkey Ctrl A and dragging with the mouse then. You could also do this by changing the Mean Radius X and Mean Radius Y values in the Properties sidebar with the same values.

Anyways, the hotkey has no menu entry.

Task: add a menu entry. Then remove hotkey.

Menu location is a problem. Needs further thinking. Hotkey just works in Edit mode and with Skin Modifier applied ...

Best place for the button would be the modifier itself. Let's have a look ...

Narp, was no good idea. The button is there. And it looks functional until you try. But the scale operation just happens in the modifier area then. The mouse cursor is trapped there. The object doesn't care about the value changes. And also interesting: the hotkey does not show at the button tooltip I-m so happy

We need to have this button in the 3D view. That's where the scale happens. And it has to be in edit mode. Mesh / Transform looks logical. Let's try ...

Fixed in keymap branch. Hotkey is also removed.

Ideally the item should hide when there is no skin modifier applied. But the item is greyed out when there is no skin modifier applied. Which is close enough for now.
